We met on Hinge (a dating app). For our first date we went to First Watch for brunch. It was a gloomy rainy day, but that didn't matter, we had a great time. As we went to leave, Jimmy brought an umbrella, but didn't walk Morgan to the car in the pouring rain! He texted her two minutes after apologizing profusely. From that moment, Morgan knew he was the one.

After seeing each other a few times, we officially started dating. One of our first events as a new couple was an out of state wedding where Jimmy met Morgan's parents for the first time. We had to share a room! Jimmy was a trooper and we knew if we got through that so early in our relationship, it was something special.

At the start of our relationship, we were inseparable, but became long distance within a few months while Morgan was up in Chicago for clinical rotations. Morgan had always heard the phrase "if he wanted to, he would" and never believed it until that spring/summer. Jimmy spent pretty much every weekend driving up to Chicago as Morgan finished school and passed her boards. After a lot of driving and Facetime phone calls, Morgan accepted a job position in Saint Louis and we decided to move in together.

Our relationship continued to grow so strong and soon we never wanted to be without each other. We did a lot of fun (and some not so fun) things within the two+ years in the apartment between family vacations, float trips, starting new careers, having surgeries, fighting over who was the better snowboarder and experiencing family loss. Through it all one thing became clear, we were meant to be together.

We took a big step in our relationship, we had a house built together and at the same time, Jimmy decided to surprise Morgan with a brand new puppy. We totally watched our lives transform into everything they had ever wanted.

On April 18th, 2024, Jimmy proposed to Morgan on a cruise that was supposed to be a surprise for his 30th birthday with his friends/family (LOTS OF SURPRISES GOING ON HERE). We were on cloud nine the whole trip and couldn't believe that we were going to marry each other's best friend.

And here we are... planning a wedding with the man I never want to live without, my best friend, and soon to be my forever husband.
